Serrapeptase
Serrapeptase
Serrapeptase (serratiopeptidase) is a protein-digesting enzyme isolated from the friendly bacterium Serratia marcescens.
Studies indicate that serrapeptase is absorbed intact from the digestive tract and that it acts systemically to support healthy immune system functions and to promote the body's normal healing processes.
Directions: Start by taking 1 capsule on an empty stomach, with 8 ounces of water. When you have verified your body's tolerance of the product at one capsule per day, you can move to taking 2 capsules per day, on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.
Pregnant or Nursing? Please Read Below!
It is sometimes suggested to avoid taking serrapeptase while pregnant or while breastfeeding. It is our practitioner's opinion that this recommendation is based on the lack of enough scientific studies to verify its safety. Conversely, multiple studies have shown that serrapeptase can be an effective treatment for mastitis and for treating C-Section scars. Please speak to your healthcare provider if you have any further questions about taking this product during or after pregnancy.
